Popular, comfortable and capable family cruiser for Pacific Northwest cruising. Equipped with Cummins diesels and loaded with gear including a diesel furnace, radar, gps/chartplotter and more. In excellent condition throughout and ready to cruise for the season!
A two-owner boat in very good condition. Previous owner was Commodore of Shelter Bay Yacht Club and a Navy veteran, purchased boat new in 1996. Set up and used boat for extended cruising, including anchoring out. Sold boat for health reasons. Current owners also kept boat in very good condition, spent 2-1/2 months on an extended cruise last summer in the Broughton Archipelago in British Columbia. Boat ran flawlessly. Spent the previous summer in the San Juans, several great trips. Current owners have just purchased a larger American Tug to continue Pacific Northwest cruising in a larger boat.
Boat hauled out by Dunato’s on Lake Union in 2017, new bottom paint, zincs, PYI shaftless seals, hull pressure washed.
Extensive engine work done by Skagit Marine Diesel in early 2017. New heat exchangers for engines, new transmission oil coolers, new raw water pumps, all injectors rebuilt, new fleetguard engine extended life coolant, new fresh water pumps installed, new engine belts installed.
New Crown AGM deep cycle house batteries installed 2016, 660 amp hour capacity. Two new 12v Dyno lead acid batteries also installed for engine starts. All batteries have 3 stage chargers. Inverter as well.
Redundant Engine Alarms (both audible horns and lights to grab your attention) installed per recommendation of Tony Athens at Seaboard Marine (https://www.sbmar.com/articles/redundant-alarms-least-expensive-engine-insurance/) for raw water flow, exhaust overtemp, engine oil pressure, and engine coolant over temp condition.
Both Cummins 4BT engines worked on by Skagit Marine Diesel. Lots of work done. New raw water pumps, new transmission and engine heat exchangers, rebuilt injectors, lots more $$$ spent.

Comfortable cruising accommodation for 4 with the ability to add 2 more in main salon on convertible settee. V-berth stateroom forward. Galley down to port with propane stove/oven, sink with pressurized hot/cold water system and fridge with integral freezer compartment. Good counter surface and lots of cutlery, dish, pots and pans and pantry storage. Up a few steps to the salon level with lower helm to starboard and L-shape settee to port.
Access to the aft stateroom is just aft of settee. The aft stateroom features a large double berth, a vanity with sink, hanging locker and clothes storage and an access to mechanical systems.
The cabin door opens to the cockpit with floor hatches for access to engines and center mounted ladder to a fully enclosed command bridge. The bridge has bench seating as well as a pair of pedestal helm and companion chairs.
Boarding access is over the cockpit coamings or via swim grid and transom door. Access to forward deck is along side deck with hand rails and perimeter bow rails for safety.

Fuel - 200 US gallons in aluminum tank with neoprene fuel delivery and vent lines. Racor R120P fuel filters. Grounded to fuel filler plates. Electric fuel gauge.
Water - 90 US gallons in plastic tank. 12 VDC pressure water supply pump. 10.5 gallon hot water tank that can heat water via 120 VAC dockside power, engine cooling system coil.
Waste - 30 US gallons in plastic tank. Head system pumps directly into holding tank which can be emptied via deck pump-out system or via macerator overboard where permitted. Tank tender level gauge.
Propane - 10 lb aluminum side mounted tank situated under command bridge shroud in vented area. System includes pressure gauge, pressure regulator and remote operated solenoid.
